Apple, Elon Musk, Obama and extra are tweeting out a Bitcoin rip-off

Bitcoin scammers focused the Twitter accounts of Elon Musk, Invoice Gates, Kanye West, Barack Obama and different well-known tech executives, entertainers and politicians on Wednesday in what seems to be a large-scale hack. Apple, Uber and different companies have been caught up within the sprawling assault.

“I am feeling beneficiant due to Covid-19,” a now-deleted tweet from the Musk account reads. “I will double any BTC fee despatched to my BTC tackle for the subsequent hour. Good luck, and keep protected on the market!”

A spokesperson for Gates confirmed the tweet was not despatched by the billionaire.
