In accordance with a tweet by present Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, Elon Musk has turned down a chance to affix Twitter’s board.
This comes days after Agrawal introduced on April 5 that Musk can be becoming a member of the board.

“We introduced on Tuesday that Elon can be appointed to the Board contingent on a background test and formal acceptance. Quick afterward Elon Musk posted this tweet, with only a single emoji — a face with eyes closed and hand over mouth. It has since been deleted.
The Tesla chief took a 9.2% stake within the social media website on March 14, in keeping with a Securities and Alternate Fee submitting. The inventory buy makes Musk the social community’s largest shareholder.
Musk’s shares are price $2.89 billion, primarily based on Twitter’s closing value Friday.
