Honor 9A launches 23 June: Value, options, availability and extra

Honor has teased the global arrival of its next affordable phone – the Honor 9A – for about a week now, with the phone’s online launch set to take place on 23 June. Here’s what to expect.

Where to buy the Honor 9A?

Honor actually first unveiled the Honor 9A, 9C and 9S for the Russian market at the end of April with the 23 June event serving as a global launch. No word yet on which markets the phone will be available in outside of Russia but it’s thought that the phone will be available in select European markets too.

Which features does the Honor 9A offer?

As with previous A-branded Honors, the 9A is an affordable offering with relatively humble specs, accompanied by a modest price tag.

The phone’s main hook is a sizeable 5000mAh battery, which paired with the conservative internals should yield impressive longevity.

The rear triple-camera arrangement is also a highlight, toting a pleasing amount of versatility in the budget phone space. It’s headed up by a 13Mp main wide-angle sensor and supplemented by a 5Mp ultrawide-angle snapper, while a 2Mp depth sensor rounds out the experience.
