Microsoft warns you won’t get your preordered Xbox Collection X on launch day

The Xbox Collection X launches Nov. 10 for $500.


Microsoft has despatched emails to individuals who’ve preordered its upcoming Xbox Collection X, warning patrons on Friday that the gaming console could not arrive by launch day. The $500 console will ship on Nov. 10 alongside the lower-priced $300 Xbox Collection S. 

“We’re contacting you about your order of Xbox Collection X to let you recognize upfront that you could be not obtain this merchandise on the day it’s launched as a result of excessive demand,” Microsoft’s e-mail stated. “We’re making each effort with the provider to obtain extra stock. We are going to present further updates as soon as extra info turns into out there.”

Preorders of the Xbox Collection X are already bought out. Sony’s new PlayStation 5 can also be launching in November — the PS5 is priced from $400 for a launch date of Nov. 12.
